Interesting article about Mary Jane & John Hawthorne. Is there any information as to his sentence from the Assizes?
|
I guess the other information was of no use?

All very informative & definitely our family. It lead us to Samuels descendants in Canada and a whole lot more questions that they are working to answer. We have traced Mary-Jane through 3 more marriages to her death in 1926 at Bridgend in Wales. Colourful Lady! :-D

I've moved onto the Canadian branch of the family now and am trying to locate Alisa Anne Billington. She was born in 1965 and her parents were William Earl Billington & Joanne Stone. We understand that her married name was Hill(s) but have been lead to believe that this marriage was disolved. Her Mother died in 2005. Can anyone help?

Thanks to everyone who has provided me with assistance in tracing my Billington relatives. The next thing I am searching for relates to Jessie Bilington. She was the daughter of Samuel Billington & Annie Staite and she was born in Wales, emigrating to Canada with the rest of her family in 1927. Family information is that Jessie never married and served as a nurse during World War 2. Neither side of the family have any documentation relating to her service & it appears that there isn't even a photograph of her. Can anyone help? :-)
