How ever did we used to manage with just the postman and the public phone box ? |

Even the phone box wasn't a lot of use then. Hardly any of the relatives on the phone. |

Good morning. I'm not saying I will not rejoin at a later date Michael. Just need a break I think and may be facing a vet bill. Poor old chap is now scraping his feet on the ground when out for walks. Bit worrying - having consulted dog books and the internet could be a spinal problem. Hope not! |

No back lash from me really Michael. Did spend quite a bit on my first greyhound, Ceilidh, who had tumour after tumour or her legs. Quite easily removed and she really enjoyed life. As soon as I found out she had an internal one she was given the best I could give her - a quiet and peaceful death. Trouble is my son. He'd do anything to prolong their lives and cannot see he is being selfish. I always get it in the neck for being too quick to put them to sleep. I do what I would like doctors to do for me if I was in their condition. |

Car boots - not keen on them Michael. I'm off out to the greyhound meet in about an hour. We do not start out from meeting point until about 9.45. Far more civilised. |
