Hi again on the 1871 census Thomas Knight aged 56 and Ann aged 53 son Benjamin on the free b.m.d i found a Thomas Knight married to Ann Crow in nottingham sep 1845 is this poss it might be benjamins mother thanks janette. |

Julie... you are right I just looked up the 1901 at the same time as you were doing it. I have deleted my bits (which were only possibles) re Alfred and Matilda and yes the marriage certificate for Fred and Rosanna is the only way to be sure. |

I really think you should order the marriage certificate that has been posted to get Fred's father's name, otherwise you could go off on the wrong track. |

I would think that the spelling mistake was on Sarah's birth certificate. It seems to be Glynn on all other records, censuses and BMD. |
