Have mothers (Ada) birth cert. and yes she was born in Hackney, 33 magaret street. The only reasonable link between B'ham and London would have been the pearl button industry. Gfather was a pearl button cutter. |

Correct again Shirley, Solomon 14 in 1877 was my matr Gfather he married Elisabeth (Shelley) and the Shelley's may be the link, I,m still searching. |

On target again Shirley, That is my mother, but how she was born in Hackney is another mystery. Grandad Soloman was a pearl worker (button cutter) I thought, based in B'ham. Why move to London?. |

Thanks Shirley, have got parents marriage cert which shows father's names as - John White, Quarryman and - Soloman Ensor, Pearl worker. Which confirms your findings. |

Trying to find the family link between my father ,Abraham Lewis White, and my Mother Ada Elizabeth Ensor, married in 1932. I think they where second cousins?,The Ensor surname is somehow linked to the White Family line of Portland Dorset |
