Yes! The combination of Daisy Violet and Ethel, with their ages, and in Whitchurch. Charles E. must have been older than we thought - nothing surprising there. Thank you Choccy! |

I'm sure Choccy will answer you, but here on GR none of us "helpers" are likely to be related to people who ask questions - we (I speak for myself only!) are just a bunch of sad nerds who like researching and know where to look. |

Thank you Choccy that's a lot of information, I shall start working on it: There are two of Charles and Bertha's children living: Norma and Violet . There are also 35 or more grandchildren, and some great grandchildren. Are you related? You seem to have the information at hand - or do you just know where to look? |

That's wonderful: I'll follow them up and see what happens. How very kind people are! |

According to age at death he must have been born c1884. |

Charles E died in 1950, in Liverpool - that's the only thing that I'm absolutely certain about, as I was 4 at the time, and I remember it. The record of deaths indicate he was 66 which conflicts with my mother's information. |

I'm sure of the Stevens. The family may have lived in Whitchurch Hants when Charles and Violet were born: Violet, who didnt marry, lived there till she died, and her grandchildren remember local people saying the family had lived there a long time (I only heard that today) |

Do you know where Charles Edmund Stevens died, so we can work out his birth date (possibly)? |

This is the 1901 Charles in 1911, father widowed, and no sign of Violet: |
