The 1861 census has a John Taylor married to Emily, daughter Emily and Fanny, sons Charles, Frederick,and Alfred. |

Julie, the reason I wanted to confirm either way Albert and Alfred is because 4 or more children hadn't been born at the time of the 1911 census. I do believe that there were 9 children in total, including Peter, so no room for the other two, and that they may well have been middle names. All of the siblings in that family had pet names I found out, and even now I am trying to sift through the sisters and their children, as they keep using pet names mixed with real names. |

I have had another look through the census, and 1881 gives a Charles Taylor married to Ellen, born in Bethnal Green. 1861 census confirms this, but there is no 1871 census to check on. |
