Hello jax

Sorry for not replying earlier than this as I was called away!

Thank you for the lookup on the Christopher UPTON his wife Ada and children of 32 Herschell St Redcar Yorkshire
I believe this is the right Christopher

Without your help on the census I would have had the wrong information still.

Can you see if you can find Christopher on 1901 census please!

UPTON
Christopher c1881 Redcar North yorks

Thank you so much
Linda.

I don't think any of them emigrated. I should have said that someone in GR found Emma for me a while back - she was with her future in laws in a nearby village so not in Hull..............Mavis

jax

jax Report 13 May 2010 22:45

quite possible...I have tried all the children too and have not come up with anything you could ask someone who has access to emigration records to have a look for you

Mavis

I had just corrected his birth date!!!!! This is the family, thank you for trying. Thomas went to sea, so maybe his wife and the younger children are on a ship somewhere................Mavis

Hi again Jax,

Would you think me very impertinent if I were to ask you for one more look up for 1911? It would be for Tatham Kendrew dob 1908, parents Thomas Hodgson Kendrew and Elizabeth, also believed to live in Hull.................Mavis

Hi Jax,

Thank you so much, you have given me more info than I thought possible, but why the 3 year old was not at home with her mum is a mystery. Didn't know about it being a 2nd marriage either, so thank you again....................Mavis

Hi Jax
I have been having trouble finding any information about my paternal grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth McGregor Morton c1900 sister Helen Wright Morton c1893 Parents Jeannie Hamilton Baird and James Morton. All I know is they left Wales in 1903 and as I don't have any more information I have come to a stand still, so if you would be able to help that would be great.
Regards
Anne
