Hi. Do you have a date of birth for William?

It may be that you will have to look at the Scotlandspeople site to trace the Scottish records, although some members on here have access so I would suggest you edit (bottom left hand corner of your post) to change your title to include the word Scotland.



There are quite a few Centers on this site with a William in their tree. Maybe worth making a few enquiries????

Again many thanks for your help,I have been doing this family tree for many years.more than I care to think about,on this site and on the Ancestery site which I stopped a couple years ago, the problem is so many people over the years have contacted me ref my Center/Young(mothers tree) tree,and added their relative,s.There are really very few that I know of really researching the Center family.There are Center,s in USA & Australia.
