I meant HER occupation on Marjories birth cert ,it would not list a fathers occupation as it has no father on it has it ?
Well at least her baptism and birth have been found as well as another possible child for her plus all the census up to but not including 1911.
Marriage and death are not appearing ,maybe she went to Scotland or Ireland,as I cant find her emigrating.

Hi FannyByGaslight
My Grandad used to go out with a lady called Fanny!
Anyway, to your question Newton-le-Willows is in Cheshire but it used to come under (Lancaster on the certificates I have).
No Isabella did not have an occupation for the father or the name of the father on the birth certificate.
on the cenus for 132 Mercer St there was a lady who was a midwife.

I have searched FMP and Ancestry passenger lists..Zilch for any of them...
I have now taken to wearing an oven mitt to prevent the blisters getting worse from all the slaps I have had to administer to our delightful Cynthia recently, she has certainly been getting out of hand more often that one would like..:)

Well girls (I use the term loosely of course*), I'm impressed by your findings so far. There are 2 Newton-le-Willows and I lived in the Lancashire one.
*I will get a slap on the wrist for that from FBG lol

Is Newton le willows in Lancashire or Huddersfield area of Yorkshire,it seems to be both? Going on census returns anyway.
Did Isabella have an occupation on the birth cert.
Back later.

Hi Chiccy Wow that is far more than I tracked.
That is great.
So the bowkers were related to the Garse family and Sarah was a Bowker before marrying Charles. This gets more interesting.
Thanks Daryl
