I could only see her age and were she was born on the Gr census. I was given the name Jane Greenwood from someone who is following a similar ancesrty. I am just trying to confirm if it is correct or not. I seem to have been going round in circles

The daughter Rose A as below in 1891 was born Leeds on image...

this is possible birth the only one with the name between 1880 and 1883 Leeds

I think that Hannah & Jane that Flick has put on for the 1901 is the same as the 1871

I wonder if Jane left John & the Children & went back to her mum

In theory Barbara yes the marriage is too early, but it is the only one, that I can find between John Davies and Jane Greenwood, even using phonetic search on names.

There is of course the possibility that they didn't marry.

Barbara, i have looked for marriages using John Davies and Jane ( no surname) in Leeds where first child was born, Newton, Ashton...nothing.

I would order the cert for Albert Edward ( or possibly Rose Ann ) if you can afford it and check names of parents .
