Lavinia and Willie did not have any children. And by the look of things Lavinia was in and out of hospital throughout her life. So Maybe I will have to try and look at some census with patients on. Maybe hitting my head against a brick wall might help. Or just forget putting a name. But we want to put a new head stone on her grave and want it doing right for her. We think she deserves it. Just had a look on ancestry they was a Lavinia Bramham died 1926 aged 54 North beirley Bradford this cold be the same Lavinia that married Dean.
I wounder who the Lavinia Bramham was who married a william hudson 1920

That would make her too old. She would have to have been born 1879 but will get the 1920 marriage cert just in case

So this is not the ones who married in 1898 in Dewsbury!!!

Yes that is the one. A wiliam Hudson married a Lavinia Bramham 1920 oct nov dec 1920, I have looked on the births for a lavinia Bramham but have had no look in finding one. The only Lavinia Bramham was the one married in Bradford.

The Exact wording on the death cert is Lavinia Hudson aged 49 died 4th of March 1930 wife of William Hudson. Machine Painter. found in Leeds Liverpool canal. Inquest had Willie as a widower.
This is what what is throwing us he went from being called willie to been called william. Looking on the Photos she wore a wedding ring. When he married the second time he was down was down as a widower.

Please can you tell us the EXACT wording on Lavinia's death cert........

It may be that they didn't actually marry........people lived in sin in those days, just as they do now, but they didn't advertise it.

One of them may have been married to someone else......

Still cannot find the wedding for Willie / William Hudson it is like the marriage as vanished. I have looked up on the Lavinia's born Keighley born the time Lavinina was born and checked them against marriage records. I have found a marriage to lavinia Bramham but it was after the 1911 census but cannot find her birth. But have found that they was a lavinia whom married a Bramham I wounder if that could be her.

I wonder now if this marriage is worth looking at 1920 keighley O/N/D 9a 487

Can't find birth for Lavinia Bramham @ 1880 so she may have been married before.

Does the death certificate have a address on,and why does it say Willie Hudson widow.
Should it say husband of the deceased!

Why if he was registered as Willie and all other census records except 1911 he is Willie and even on death certificate for Lavinia it says Willie,then why would he be William on 1911.

Are we sure that the 1911 census is the correct one?

Hi Maryb yes the lady was very nice but no connection at all i have to go home but mum is going to keep on line and keep looking it is a total mystery a piece in the jigsaw we cannot find many thanks karen marie

yes just had the reply not my lavinia my dad seems to think they may have married outside yorkshire he is not sure i have spent 3 hours looking this morning even trying different spellings i will be glad when i get the internet back at home as i only have limited time i can spend at mums

No Lavinia Spencer is not the Lavinia Hudson we are looking for I emailed the lady this morning she said her Lavinia married another gentleman and went onto have some more childrenThanks karen marie
