If Evelyn was 67 when she died in 1960 her date of birth would have been approximately 1893. That is searchable in NSW BDM. I can not find her birth in those records. She was either born in another Australian state or immigrated from UK.

I have asked Janice to go through the information and match it to what she knows, then if she wishes to source transcripts of the certificates which will fill in more of the gaps.

I'm also hoping JaneyC still has the info prior to the marriage of Sydney and Evelyn. The bdm and census from UK and anything about the great grandparents. I did not keep any of that.

Just found one thing we need to check. Dora May Davidson married Leslie Horne.

Her nee name on burial was Dora May Horne nee Wilmott. There is also a mention of a person called Archie.

I have edited the information above do not think this Dora is Leslie's Dora.

You will soon get the hang of it and you can look at which certificates you wish to order OR PLEASE READ THIS. A far better option is to find the Joy Murrin transcription site and get copies of your certificates from them. It is much cheaper and they are really quick and accurate.
