There was an Alexander Pratt who came to Australia on the Dandenong in August 1872. He travelled alone as far as I can see and was a steerage passenger. He arrived at Melbourne and travelled to Sydney, judging by the info at the top of the ship's log. |

Here are births for children with Alexander C Pratt and Sophia as parents. With their dates of birth. All except one are from the Maitland District which is near Newcastle NSW. |

The person who registered her death did not know her mother's name. This is the entry from the NSW BDM. Her mother's name would normally be next to the father's (where it says Died Erskineville on this record). |
