I´ve tried every combination I can think of & the only one that came up on Ancestry was Annie McGliston aged 33 married, living with her widowed mother Mary Habberley & her siblings in Belle Vue Road 1901. Can´t find a marriage.nothing on Familysearch (it says there are no records for the surname McGliston). |

But why does she give her fathers name as John Bennett - labourer on her marriage certificate? |

Maybe she made him up? Not unheard of were she illegitimate. Not saying she was obviously, but it's just another theory. |

Just a thought about Annie McGliston. Can´t find a marriage for her under Habberley. Could she have been married previously & widowed & therefore married Mc gliston under another surname. |

Well I went to the local Research Office today in fact I spent over 6 1/2 hours there, I was helped by a lady from Shropshire Family History and a gentleman from the research Office who were determined to find Lucy, but sad to say they couldn't, I am no further forward, so reluctantly I have decided to call it a day for now, I have spent so many hours(days) looking for her but to no avail. |
