A breakthrough today thanks to the 1911 census! After years of *knowing* I wouldn't get anywhere as place of birth on every census, certificate, etc saying just "Ireland" I have a place of birth for one of ours as Fermoyle Co Monaghan. Which is Formoyle, Tydavnet, Co Monaghan.

As I type I am reading 'How To Trace Your Ancestors in County Monaghan' but wonder whether any kind soul has ready access to any RC records for the three nearby Catholic churches on CD etc? I am talking pre civil registration.

If so, please send me a message and I'll give further details and more importantly will be forever in your debt!
Thank you.
