Sorry I was off doing something else. Owen Jones was named as father on the Jones /Cropper Marriage I think (poss pg 25 or 26). |

I wondered that too Jan, especially when I couldn't find a marriage for Ann Davies & Owen Jones in the right time frame. Big gap in potential marriages between 1871 & 1886 on FreeBMD. |

Martyn forgot to say - if you google Greenacres Cemetery there are some online records for all the Oldham cemeteries- mainly 20th&21st century but a smattering of 19th century records. Couldn't see any of your Jones family but you might have better luck. It's not clear how far they have got with the transcribing but there are some contact details. |

We think May Jones mmn Cropper b1899 in Oldham was the first child. The second child Florence b1900 in Crewe. I posted poss birth/census details on pg 26 including the possibility that May died in Crewe. |
