can't find an Ellen Leicester with a Jones in the household

hi everyone well it looks like a brick wall again will see if i can get mums memory going again today

I'm hooked with this one but unfortunately can't get to do more parish rec searching (& find out what the record of Rose Ann said) until Thursday.

i have looked at 1900-1915 for jones-leicester marriage no joy also searched 1918-1927 for jones-glover marriage could only find leicester-glover as jan said looked up birth for eldest son ruben mothers maiden name leicester born 1926

been looking at births for leicster just found ellen 1989 ernest 1999 & edith 1900 could they be siblings all born in oldham the plot thickens

Sidney/Nora and children!!!!!

on the 1901 census mary has a boarder isiah stafford aged 32 labourer in a iron works ,as john was a moulder in a iron works could this be a connection ,just a thought

jan i cannot see ellen anywhere , she is there on the 1901 aged 2 which you found yesterday i really dont know what to say or do

its the 1911 census i was hoping someone may have been able to look at to see who these 2 children were living with
we have birth index and lancashire birth info on them

depending how much you want to spend to find out about your family you might want to think about getting Sydneys marriage cert to hopefully give his age so we can confirm birth index

well another line sorted just ellen,arthur,& rose as leonard didnt marry have just sent 3 emails will wait to see if i get any responce

As there is only one Ellen Leicester in Manchester in 1911 it's possible to do a free search to see who else is in the household with her. Go to advanced search and put in Manchester as reg district, then in 'other people in household' put in Ellen Leicester.
