Yes i've seen that one, sorry i thought it was something other than what has been found.

Thats when i thought the date might have been 1920 as listed originally before ammendments.

Thats just his insurers details for the shop in London.

I still cannot find anything to say it's not the same George Briscoe Whalley at the minute.

Found this also...

Birdlip is a hamlet, forming a portion of the parishes of Cowley, Brimpsfield and Witcomb, 5 miles from Painswick, 7 from Gloucester, and 6 south-west from Cheltenham. A fair is held here the last Tuesday in April for sheep and cattle. A Baptist chapel was erected in 1841.

The unversity entry give us more details about their lives.

It comfirms the association with George Briscoe.

The Indian connection means Paul could have been in India with my lot, who were running some of the areas out there!

Paul has also written a book!.... Author, A Collection of the Laws and Rules of the Non-Regulation Provinces. (St Paul's Sch. Reg.; Inns of Court; India Office Lists.)

Born 1839 and the eldest son of George Briscoe Whalley.

Seems he was an influential guy in India!
