Henry Oribine missing 1940 from Scotland, he allergically joined Merchant Navy in Scotland. He may have used another name, he may have used frank Gilsepie. Henry was from Greenock area near Glasgow . He left on a merchant naval ship which sailed from Aire in Scotland. It was Oct/Nov 1940 but I do not have any eveidence of this.It is rumoured that he lost his life as the ship went down off the coast of Canada. Henry was AWOL from the army. Henry baby son died in Oct 1940. After the funeral Henry went AWOL. |
