Find Ancestors

Well I am going by the fact that he was born in Buckinghamshire same as your William Andrew and the rest of the children are born in London eg Kensington, Hampton Court Middx etc. Also names of sibling being Charles and father being John???????

I have tried looking for Alfred on the 1911 , but don't have credits...there are a number of possibles, including an Alfred with an Albert in family, down as 'Overseas Military' perhaps someone with a sub' would be able to look for you?

Mel, do we know whether this is William Andrew Birch or could it be another William Birch? I know the age is about right but is there anything else that would nail it down a bit more?

OK, thanks for the info on the census registration nos.
Have just seen your latest post. So Elizabeth and Benjamin were probably orphans at a very young age. Looks like the parents were very old though or am I getting confused! Wish they didn't always give their children the same names!

Hi Mel, Yes, I've got the birth cert for William Samuel.

The RG number is the census ref.

It's the census registration number, each page of each census has it's own unique reference number by using the numbers and the surname you *should* get the data you need.
