Hi yes thankyou,my father told me his grandfather was richard tapper so i have assumed this was who i should be looking for , however as my father does not have much info it could be the wrong name , not sure i have any more info to go on , the people who susan have found are the family who i have traced but cant seem to go any further , i know that dudley tapper never had any children , sidney is my grandfather and moved to birmingham and had five sons , winifred had two children but i dont know any thing about clive. i was told that my greatgrand father died in 1905 , and that he was a bookie of some sort? .thankyou x

Now we know neither 1 was her as the 1st 1 was married to a Frank & the 2nd 1 is single

Hi i think he would of been married in 1885, just guessing i know his wife was 29 in 1901 and her name was elizabeth tapper once married and i was told he was a book maker if this is any help? thankyou however i have been told that my great grandmother remarried after his death .

Thankyou for your help. his name is richard tapper and he married elizabeth tapper lived in london and had four children , i think he died in 1905 , but as i said i cant seem to find out any more as i am trying to trace his side of the family not sure where to look now , i dont know where he was born unfortunatley i assume he was born around 1870s ish as he wife was 29 in1901 but he is not on that census ? thankyou

He might have been mistranscribed on the census

would some one please be kind enough to point me in the right direction , as i seem to have come to a dead end . i am trying to locate my greatgrand father however there seems to be no records of him , where should i look if he is not on the census ? i habve tried to locate him through war records etc not sure where to go next any ideas please . thankyou .
