Trying to find Mums half brother

I am trying to find my Mum's half brother. This is really going to be a long shot! Her Father Charles Johnson had an affair with a woman called Rose. Rose had a son in either 1945 or 1946. Charles Johnson, at the time, i believe worked at a Wool plant in Silvertown/ Custom House, East end of London before working at Tate and Lyles in Silvertown. He lived in Wanstead London E11. Charles Johnson was born in 1906 (he is on my tree). I know that at the time Rose lived with her mother and brother. I don't know where they lived or have a surname for her. All i know is she definately had a son and that Charles Johnson was the father. I know there are very little details as there is no-one alive to give me any more information. My Mum knows very little as back in those days things like this were very taboo. Any informatin would be very much appreciated. Thankyou. |
