I have now found out more about my sister Patricia. She was adopted by a couple who lived in Rhosllanerchrugog in Wales. Their names were Stephen and Olwen(?) Pemberton. Stephen was a medic at the coal mines. She changed her name to Gwenneth - again I am unsure of the spelling.

I now have some more information about Patricia. Her name is Patricia Mary Gavin and she was born at Walton Hospital in Liverpool on 16 March 1947. She was brought up by her mother and grandmother until her adoption in June 1951. I only found out about her existence recently, but she is my older sister and I would so love to make contact with her.

She thinks Patricia was born after 1942, but thanks us for the help

if you think it's her, you'd need to order the BC from www.gro.gov.uk costs £7. You can't get her dob elsewhere unless she appears on a shipping list which shows it. Or possibly a baptism somewhere.

Her mother's name was also Gavin. I am still trying to find out her exact date of birth. Was Patricia Lockett born in Liverpool?

I am trying to find Patricia Gavin, born in the Liverpool area in the mid 1940s. Was either adopted or fostered at the age of 3 0r 4 and may even have moved to Canada. Her birth mother's name was Margaret.
