If anyone is intending to visit the National Archives could they possibly do me a huge favour and look up the merchant seamans Service file 1941-1972 Fifth Register in classification BT382, I am trying to find any information in relation to my great uncle Victor McCaffrey who was a donkeyman on the SS Regent Tiger, last heard of being repatriated to Liverpool onboard the MV Deido on the 12th August 1953. His Official seamans record was 160370
