I'm trying to establish family on my mothers side.

My Mother Vera Hope born to Margaret Jane Hope in 1920 who was a domestic servant in Oak Street in Jarrow, though I beleive this is where she resided until my mother was born. My mother was then adopted.
I have very little information other than Margaret had a sister and the head of the household had a daughter who married in 1909 to which one of the witnessess was a Mary Hannah Hope (could this be an older sister).
My only thought at this point is she was born out of wedlock and the only hope of tracing family is if the story was told and passed down a family line.

Any help would be appreciated
