I have finally (after waiting 2 weeks) got my grandparents marriage cert.
20th Sept 1943 Ernest Pyne, 22, Bach, L.A.C RAF, No3 signals Depot RAF ME, Frederick Pyne, Postman Ivy Freda Grace Payne, 23, Spin, Private ATS, Kasr-EL-Nil Barracks, Cairo, John Payne, Platelayer.

I have a very nice person calling me back about 12 Spencer Road, St Pancras (my Grandmother's birth address) Hopefully there maybe other people at the address which might give me some clues.!

2 families at that address in 1920.
Ethel & John Payne and....
Elizabeth & George Bacon & George William Bacon.
