The Medal Office only replace WW2 service medals to service veterans or if deceased to the member of the family who now holds the medal, under certain circumstances where the medal is lost through street theft,burglary or house fire. |

Thanks for the "good luck" wishes but I have the Legges down to a "T"! Alice was born Kington but her father wisely was born in Clungunford Shropshire, which kind of narrows it down somewhat!! |

Barbara and Viv, thanks, missed the ref to Wainder Rd in my excitement! Doesn't seem to exist now, but could be Windsor Rd. i guess. But the Maindee area clinches it anyway. |
