Does not appear that she died in NSW or Qld.
Perhaps contact the council and they may be able to offer funeral application info. http://www.tweed.nsw.gov.au/cemeteries/default.aspx
Or contact Jenny Brandis at her site (above) re the cemetery index.
Good luck!!! :-)

Hi Sue
Yes it seems she did move to Qld - to Coorparoo, just out of Brisbane.
The Courier-Mail, Saturday 11 October 1941 LOVELOCK— DICK.— A frock of delphine blue crepe romalne will be worn by Miss Marjorie M. Dick when she is married to Mr. Hilton Lovelock (elder son of Mrs. A. P. Lovelock, Coorparoo, and the late Mr. W. D. Lovelock) in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Creek Street, this afternoon, and she will pin orchids on her white handbag. The Rev. N. L. D. Webster will officiate. The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. W. Dick, Auchenflower, will be attended by her sister, Miss P. Dick, wearing rose du Barry romaine, and orchids will be pinned on her handbag also. Mr. Owen Lind will be best man.
His enlistment LOVELOCK HILTON : Service Number - Q231834 : Date of birth - 20 Dec 1905 : Place of birth - COONAMBLE NSW : Place of enlistment - BRISBANE QLD : Next of Kin - MARJORIE
However, a search of Brisbane Council cemeteries comes up blank for Hilton, Marjorie and Ann.
Two of their surviving 3 daughters married in Murwillumbah NSW - Isobel to Wm J. TREVAN in 1929 and Amy to Wm P. BURKE in 1930. Wm LOVELOCK died in Murwillumbah in 1927.
Isobel's husband's WWI enlistment, aged 23? TREVAN William James : Service Number - 6138 : Place of Birth - Ballarat VIC : Place of Enlistment - Sydney NSW : Next of Kin - (Father) TREVAN Thomas
This could be Amy's death notice at Ryerson Index: BURKE Amy Elizabeth Death notice 09MAY2011 Death 97 Ballarat Courier 11MAY2011
Sorry I can't offer more

Hi Heather
Do you have any idea when he died, or if he was married?
No death to 1888 with those parents.

Hi
Would you mind searching for any children born to Charles E and May Abrahams (nee Stacey). This would be between 1911 and 1920 (when I believe May died - Claremont, Perth).
many thanks

Hi Cherlyn, You have helped me before and I'm back again. I'm looking for the marriage of James Wood in Victoria. He was born in 1827 Rugeley, Staffordshire, and parents were John & Charlotte. He lived and died at Eaglehawk as far as I know. Thanks...Heather

Cherilyn
I am thinking that the marriage notice in the Barrier Mail Broken Hill is a typing error and should say Nott not Mott. My father insists that Clarence NOTT and Edith MOTT were her parents so they must have had her some time before there marriage in 1928. I have found more information on her 2nd marriage (after the death of her husband Stuart (Stewart) Ogilivie) to Raymond Williams at Semaphore SA and the electoral role for that area June 1943 and found that Raymond Henry (laborer) and Iris Mary (home duties) Williams were living at 42 South Terrace, Semaphore and Albert Norman (spinner), Albert Charles (teacher) and Olive Pearl (home duties) Williams were living at 20 Brown Street, Semaphore.
This still doesn't solve my problem of confirming that Clarence Nott and Edith Mott were her parents. Would love the link to kerri's thread as suggested.
Many thanks

Hi Pat
Something doesn't add up there - was Edith Irene born a MOTT? If so she married very late since if iris is her daughter, the daughter married only 10yrs after her mother did!
Also wouldn't the marriage notice say she was the daughter of Mr & Mrs NOTT (or Mrs Mott), rather than Mr & Mrs Mott?
???
try kerri's thread - if you can't find it I will nudge it for you

That would be a great help. My 85 year old father say that her parents were Clarence Nott and Edith Irene Mott (my father's auntie) who married in 1928 at Broken Hill. Iris must have been born prior to their marriage - perhaps between 1920-28.
Thanks
Pat
