A thought
If her father was deceased and her brother gaveher away in his place might he have given his name as he was playing the role?
|
Pardon me a thousand times Beatrice but YOU deleted this thread
http://www.genesreunited.com.au/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1196549
and I think there was another I can't find now because it isn't there, no it's the one I originally put
http://www.genesreunited.com.au/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1196551&px=0
So anyone else who wants to help you and deal with all the incorrect information you tend to offer and then find their work deleted in a fit of pique is welcome to do it but it won't be me.
|
OK OK I think Beatrice has got the message about not deleting. Incidentally I was wondering if you had reached the same conclusions as me. As I said it is a rare name and I have a few in my tree from that area.
A puzzle for you then
I have his siblings marriages and children. I have not found a death. I have census returns through to 1901. I found what I thought was him in 1911 until I looked at his age. Is it a mistranscription or maybe his father?

was the info I posted any good?
|
Ummm i am wondering who and why deleted my posts???
|
Lots of yours still on here.Samspade. I suspect Beatrice is new at this so we will need to teach her protocol on here. I had to learn once.
Did you reach the same conclusion as me?
|
Many thanks Lady kira, You are so right I am very new to this and dyslexic, but some one has deleted that as well I expect,I truly haven't deleted anything have not learned how to yet. Bit sad Bruce is mad he was very helpful to me directing me etc I wish I knew who did the deleting. I can't change the 1878 to 1858 as I don't know how. You have it all right and I'm very grateful I'm married to a Letkey and your info works out perfectly. Many thanks Rergards BX ps lost my confiedence so haven't been on 4 a while thought I'd let every one calm down.Very grateful to you and your research and peace making.x If your out there Bruce hope we can patch things up regards Bx

Posts and threads can be deleted only by the person who wrote them at their discretion or the site owners in response to a complaint
If any of Samspade's posts have been deleted and not by Samspade it is because someone complained to management about them, the thread originator cannot delete other people's posts in a thread.
If anyone else deleted their own post it is generally because they decided the information was not helpful or had been posted by someone else also or they were no longer interested in the thread and deleted the posts to have the thread stop appearing in their "My threads" or they had some reason for deciding not to assist the thread originator
Why someone deletes their threads I never know but it often seems to be to eliminate the evidence of multiple posting and with it all the work others have done.
Since the holidays ended I have not had a lot of time to devote to this board and you seem to be in good hands now Beatrice.
