Hi Dea
No I had nothing on her apart from fathers occupation, but it looks like you have found the correct family, given rather unusual combination of names & same occupation - Ann who witnessed marriage may well have been a more distant relative. Thanks again for all your time & effort. I will get references & send for death certificatesidentified , just to round it all off.
Thanks Again
Alison

The original of the 1911 states James address as 13 Aspinall Street, Heyworth. Looking at the Enumerators list it says that number 13 is The Engineers Arms.

Also although James was a widower he stated that he had been married 30 years - this had been crossed through later with a red pen. Therefore he was probably married in 1881ish!!

IGI: Ann Cole = Ralph Chadwick 1667 London,
The pedigree that you rely on is wrong.
Heralds College has no official records on Sir Andrew Chadwick, what they do have is part of a private collection compiled by the then Keeper of The Portculliss for Richmond in Surrey, who fancied himself a geneoligist.
The copyhold on Carter Place Is not to be relied on due to Ellis Chadwick never leaving Bolton.
Reports on the Estates of Sir Andrew Chadwick- is incorrect due to its lack of recearch in the correct places, and the leaving out of major facts.

Hello Sidney,

It may be that you are looking for connections to your Chadwick family. In that case, simply put the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above to see if any one on this site has them in their tree.

If you find a connection, you then have the option of contacting the tree owner. Cx
