Thomas father on birth certificate shows him a a general carman, his parents are Samuel Johnson - 1862, Brentford, Middlesex & mother Catherine (Kate) Donovan - 1861 - Shadwell, London |

Yes it could be a possibility that his mother remarried and that he could have been adopted. Are you able to check the 1911 census for me to see if he is on it. |
