Searching for any info on Christopher Collins HAWKINS b. 20/12/1920 in Ayr Qld. NOK George HAWKINS, 3 Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps, believed to be an electrician after the war, and in the mid 50's may have branched out into the retail electrical field.

Searching for any info on Christopher Colin Hawkins son of Christopher George Hawkins and Ethel Maude Draper...

Christopher Colin had his own electrical store in musgrave road Red Hill Qld in the 1950's, married Thelma Radel (daughter of Benno Otto Radel) in 1943...
If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated... My husband has only found out this corrected information from his mother today, so far this is the only real lead that we have...

Any information on Christopher Colin Hawkins, apparently had his own electircal Store in New Farm Brisbane Queensland circa 1950's had a relationship with Annie May (known as May) Surmon which produced a son Michael David Surmon born 27/9/1956 at Brisbane Royal Womens Hospital.

May was born on the 24/5/1923, so we are thinking that Christopher was born sometime around 1920's!

Michael is my husband and has gone through all of his life not knowing any info on his father, he has asked his mother many times and she has refused to tell him anything, until today.... May has come forward with a name but she won't reveal anything else...she has the beginnings of dementia, so we don't like to push her for too much info, as we don't want to upset her...
Should anyone know of anything that they might think will be helpful, it would be greatly appreciated.
