I'm to trying to find parents & siblings of John Henry Peter Pries Born abt 1842 Germany, Died 1906 Sydney Australia but has a USA connection.

Family members say he had sisters in the USA (I don't have names) which he did go and visit but John ended up in Sydney in 1866. He became a Hotel Manager/Owner & had many daughters & 1 son.

I've not been able to find his family arriving in the States and have no other family names.

Does somebody have a John Pries that went missing from their family?
