That was the only marriage I could find up to 1910. Maybe they married after that. Could the Jamieson be a mis-hearing of Johnstone (clutching at straws). Do any of the occuptions or address match up and are there any clues in the witnesses? |

Marriage of Colin and Margaret isn't mine, her parents are James Letson and Annie Jamieson. His parents are Colin and Sarah McLachlan. GRRRR |

Colin and Margaret were married in Greenock in 1902 - only marriage on Scotlands people. The cert will give Colin's father and perhaps give a clue to his relationship (if any to James). |

There is only one marriage coming up on Scotlandspeople for a James McLeod and Sarah Johnstone between 1885 and 1891. It is 1890 in Glasgow city. I don't have any credits to view it but it will give you James's father which I think will be needed to go back further on the census. |
