My great grandfather william Russell and his wife Eliza went to Australia in 1910.Their son william Charles was about 18.William C married a Greta Ina and they had two sons.The younger died in a river accident.Maxwell,the other son can last be traced in 1954 Electoral roll in Ballarat ,Victoria with a Marjorie Ethel presumably his wife at one address and William and his wife also in he town nearby.Maxwell's cousin Pam last met him in 1938 and would love to know what happened to this branch of our family.I have tried the local paper in Ballarat as well as numerous searches with no luck.Can anyone shine any light on my wish to trace the Russells? |
