Gooner.....I had the same good Google.and it clealry states PACKINGTON near Ashby..partly in the hundred of Repton and Gresley...........Packingham i have yet to find anywhere.......... |

Hi Liz..sorry to keep you waiting..this is a thorny one.......a "submitted" and therefore dubious IGI entry gives a marriage for Joh "before April 1802" at All Saints Derby............not so..He dcoes not appear in those Records......another entry mentions St Werburgh's..not there either.... |

Hello Mandy..I can confirm the marriage of Martha Ringrose in 1864 from BMD's.......and there is a reference number from which it would be possible to purchase the Marriage Certificate.........it was registered Belper..which means nothing because Belper was the registration Destrict for several places in the Parishes of Duffield and or Alfreton. |

Hi Gooner..Upper and Lower Packington are part of Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire..I know the area very well..there is no Packingham. |

Hello Bruce..all you can do is "Google" Rolleston Hall.and look at all the references to the place..there is an 1881 Censusof people living there.....apart from that I have no real help to offer you. |
