Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 4 Send Message	Kilmany (Victoria Australia) will be celebrating 100 years of Closer Settlement on the longweekend in March 2011. Any photos or stories of interest would be appreciated. A Centenary Book will be launched at the celebrations. William Pearson (Kilmany Park Estate) sold part of his property (8600 acres) in 1911 to the closer settlement board at twelve pounds ten shillings per acre. The area was subdivided into seventy four farms, ranging in size from twenty acres to 278 acres.
