Help, Im stuck. Found my hubby's grandfather - Percy William Sawyer b 1897 Chertsey Surrey. He doesnt seem to appear in 1901 census and in 1911 he's at an industrial school so havent been able to trace his parents. Could anyone help?

We know he married twice, first to Doris M Rees b 1897 Aston Birmingham in 1922 in Islington and had one son born 1924 in Hatfield Hants called Kenneth, then to Elsie May Bristow / Marshall b 1911 Wycombe in 1947 in Marleybone Middlesex they later adopted two children- Robert and Frances.
However my husband lost contact with his "step" aunt and uncles who are similar age to him. (1947)
Would appreciate whatever assistance to trace the living sawyers as well as their ancestry before Percy William.
Many thanks
