you can also do other fruits. i like raspberry gin best and it makes loads because you add some water. Sloe gin is best kept for a year before drinking. |

Crap! I looked at everything else on the image and somehow managed not to see that! Even though I've actually been searching using Australia too, it having been done in reverse to my Monck uncles in one record, born Australia, Ancestry decided it was Austria ... so hey, it's possible. ;) |

giggle giggle. Axel was just another strange name! My damson trees are Meriweather Damsons and they are bigger than the ones you buy in the shops. Lovely just off the tree when ripe. I was hoping to put some in some gin for Christmas. |
