Dear All

Hello

I read this book about lost and forgetten burial grounds in and around London.

GRAVEYARD LONDON

BY ROBERT BARD

ISBN 978 1 905286 25 6

There is a general view of burials that took place.

But these chapters are worth a mention:

1. Closed and lost burial grounds
2. Southwark
3. Jewish Burial Grounds

If you cannot find a burial place, try and check at the archive and history centre for that area, to see what cemetaries, non-conformist and smaller burial places were around at a particular time.

Some have been demolished or some turned into areas for wildlife and conservation.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes to all
