That's strange.. Almost everyone on so far in my family i've managed to find on the freebmd, I'll proberly have to buy some certificates for this side of the family.

I noticed that Ann Elizabeth had a younger sister Mary and alice, they both are on the freebmd.. Odd that she isn't.

Ifshe was 9 months as it says on 1891 and that census was taken on 5th april ,then she must have been born july august 1890 and prob reged in the sept quarter of 1890.
If she was registered of course.
I dont see a marriage to Ann for James on freebmd either!

I haven't found her birth either, but her marriage was to Charles Roberts in 1908 in mile end and her name appears as Ann Elizabeth Whaymand

I cant find a birth on freebmd for Ann elizabeth Whaymand at all,not under any spelling.

Can any one else?

If Ann and james married in Mile end and had Ann elizabeth christened there then I dont think they will be found on ancestry at the moment as it doesnt cover Mile End for those records,I cant see it in the list of places covered.

Wonder if anyone can help me here..
My 3x great grandad was James Whaymand born 1866, Stepney. and my 2x great nan was Ann Elizabeth Whaymand born 1891 In Bethnal Green.

Looking at the freeBMD index the only marriage of a James Whaymand is to a Alice Lynn in 1913 which is quite a long time after my 2x great nans birth so I don't know if that she was her mother.

On the 1901 Census record (which I can't view properly cus i'm not a fully subscribed member to ancestry) it says that James Whaymand born 1866 spouse was Alice..

Could anyone look this up for me? Sorry if this makes no sence, but i'll be around to answer any questions.

EDIT: just found this, this could give the real year of marriage..
