Just updating the info below. I still haven't found anything on my Grandfather, no death record or emigration record. Family views are that he was still alive after the second world war although no one knows any more detail than that. Would really like to find something out for my Mum (his daughter) who's 87 now and not in good health. Anything would help.

Can anyone help me to find what happened to my Grandfather, Albert Victor Paisley, born 1 Nov 1900 in Harrington, Cumberland. He married Agnes Thomson Hold on 5 Jan 1925 in Workington, Cumberland, and had two children, Heather and Edna. He disappeared about 1927/1930 and I've had no success in tracing him. I have heard that he was alive after the 2nd world war, but nothing since.
Any help, ideas gratefully received.
