Hi sorry not getting back to you earlier.

Nellie Maud Gray to George Henry Allen are the parents of George Gray Allen who married a Annie Elizabeth Hope who is related to me.

On a basic search that i can do there is a Nellie M Gray that comes up without putting her birth year in?

G G Allen and Annie were both born 1904.

Ernest baffled me.. Either he died before 1940 (Ancestry's Calif starts from that year) or simply vanished. As for Annie, I wouldnt know which is hers as the marriages as I said before doesnt start until 1960.

Might be doing it right this time, new to the Community out of my depth lol

I am trying to find my father's father George Wharram ...

George Wharram has his date of birth as 21/05/1985 there is no Birth Registered for him here in the UK unless he has lied about his date of birth on his Certificates, or maybe he was born in Canada that is why his birth does not show here!

George Wharram enlisted 199th Battalion Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force, he was already in the 55th Irish Canadian Rangers in 1916 in Montreal. stating this date 21/05/1895 as being his date of Birth!!

Have got to find out what he was doing in Montreal and when he arrived there from England

Is it possible to check 1930 census Los Angeles for Mary C Collins/Wells she would be around 43, I have the family in 1920 and she is shown age 33 but a death in 1967 shows a Mary C Wells mothers maiden name Mannion which is correct. Would like to know if its one and the same and when she married.

Hope you can understand above, family went to USA in 1882 from Manchester England.
