Hi Ann, something funny here, I have been in contact with a Kirkham decendant but cant seem to tie this Amy Agnes in with my branch of the Gouriets

Thanx Starr1, this is a very complex branch of my family and I only stumbled across the Gouriet's by accident as I was looking for Mace's,apart from my grandfather I seem to have hit a brick wall re the rest

Please can anyone help? My grandfather was born John Sidney Gouriet Q2 1881, I am looking for his siblings:

This family were very fond of name changes, hence it has become very difficult to follow them beyond the 1891c, at this time my grandfather and his siblings were all in various institutions, the name changes appear to have begun here, with my grandfather becoming - Sydney Hamilton Gouriet, he finally became Sidney John Mace, his sister Agnes Amy Gouriet became Amy Agnes Gouriet and his brother at a much later date changed his surname to Mace too. { Mace was the surname of their mothers second husband}

The family were all born London/Middlesex.

I would be so grateful for any help as this branch of my family is really driving me mad. Thanking all in anticipation. Chris
