I think the 1841 census could still reveal them but after much hard work. Have you found them in 1851? |

Hi Ginny, looked at certificate Felisha it is, her maiden name is Boden and not Bodson.ive Been on family search and looked for James 1811 son Joseph and iv found a Joseph Boden born 1835 married to Ann. im sure it is his family and it does have a mother living there in the name of Filisha age 67 and a nurse, so i dont think it can be her death in 1847, 1851 census Joseph was a Finisher,on the 1881 census he is a finisher of cotton goods. what do you think Janette |

There just doesnt seem to be one common denominator throughout the census info that pin points the correct family |

The census that Kay posted earlier with 'Helisha' as the mother. The actual census reads 'Felisha' |

What was Albert Edward's fathers name on the marriage cert? It must be one of these; I'd take punt it is the first one due to the areas of Sheffield we have discussed?? |

I'd take a bet that our 'Felisha' was not called that at all and adopted the name sometime after the 1841 census. |
