I think his mother ada emily wise/whitlark returned to london in 1924 but in 1936 census she was in lilli pilli australia no idea where she died there or here? check all UK death records but can't see her |

morton ashton had one sibling phyllis lilian whitlark c. 1902 but she died at some point between 1921 and 1936 as she is the one who is deseased. |

hiya yes! I just received the birth cert for his death today from australia. I thought it might give me some clues but doesn't just to say morton ashton was 40 in 1936 and still alive (his daughter who had died was on as deseased) |

Hiya trying to find Morton Ashton Whitlark c. 1897 London moved to Australia in 1913 served in the military. Was returned to Australia in 1919 then nothing! he was still alive at the time of his fathers death in 1936 but can't find him married or dead after this! |
