Member Since: August 2008 Posts: 11 Send Message	Betty Shipley boarded at Cape Town and travelled to the Uk on board The Sophocles ship in 1922. She travelled with a Elizabeth Smith and William Pritchard Smith. They docked in England, Tilbury 28th. June 1922. This is information from Elizabeth Smiths diary of her voyage from England to S.Africa and back. Betty was approx 6 years old and was also known as Alfreda. Does anyone know if I can pick up the passenger list of this ship without using the names I have as I haven't been successful using them. Betty doesn't appear at all and there are far too many Smiths.
