yes and i have her on the 1911 census, after james had died. She is listed as Mary Theresa Bradshaw age 43 (widow) and my great grandfather jOSEPH,is also there age 15 |

yes maybe i will have to re-order the certificate as i cant find it. i know i have definitely seen it because thats where i discovered her father's name and one of the witnesses was called Mary Gertrude Magdalena, or something like that because i remember thinking thats a mouthful of a name! |

How could she have married in 1888 at 13 and still be on the 1891 census under her maiden name Mary Stevenson. |

Thanks everyone for the info. i did have her marriage certificate (when she married James Bradshaw in 1888). Thats how i worked out her date of birth. James was a widower and was about 20 years older than her. |

There's nothing showing on Lancs BMD (births) which does cover Preston. |
