I believe that my gt grandmother Mary Pickering had two children who she gave up for adoption or fostering. They would possibly have been born sometime between 1878 & 1888.
Mary was born in Bridlington but lived in Hull. she also worked in Leeds in 1881.
I think that the children could have been born in Bridlington, Hull, Leeds or Oldham. I have also found a London address in her Birthday book, so they might have been born there.
I would welcome any information.
