Hello Steven
Many thanks for the kind offer. I wonder if you can find anything on this elusive father and son duo. Hugh ROSS and Nathaniel ROSS.

Both sailor/merchant seaman. Hugh may have died in S.A 1868-1872. I wonder if you can search the shipping and death indesex for them please.

Hugh was born c1833 in Scotland and Nathaniel born 1864 Scotland.

Many thanks

Danielle

Thank you very much Steven,

What you've found so far is wonderful and William Junior's birth clears things up a bit, especially with their movements.

Thanks again and I'll wait to hear if you dig anything else up.

Alison

Hello Steven,

May I please take you up on your kind offer?

I am searching for the arrival of William Henry Nolan born circa 1864 from New Brunswick, Canada. He is in the Canada 1881 Census and arrived and married Catherine Bennett soon after in Adelaide(?) - no date for you, sorry. William was a butcher/bacon curer. His parents names were John and Mary (nee Featherstone)

Catherine Bennett born North Adelaide circa 1864 to Patrick Bennett and Sarah (nee Woods.)

A son, Everett Frederick Nolan was born 1880-1884? in Adelaide, not sure of date and therefore, not sure if William Henry is his father. The next child to be born is a William (which makes me wonder if Everett is indeed illegitimate) in 1884 and takes place in Qld.

*This info is from another rele, so I'm unsure as to the accuracy. The 1881 Census info however is correct. My husband is descended from Everett.

Thank you if you can assist.
Regards
Alison
